Replaced a Mark Cross tray with this one, and happy about it!

I love quality leather goods, so I was heartbroken when my trusty Mark Cross valet tray disappeared from my luggage on a flight last year. I'd had it for over 20 years, and was even more heartbroken when I found that the cost to replace it would be $280, so the search began for a quality valet tray. There are many of them out there, but what's the deal with valet trays that don't lay flat because the sides don't un-snap? I was complaining to a friend about this and she showed me her tray from Ansgar Leather. Completely hand-made from start to finish, and exactly the size and simplicity I was hoping for. Best part? An eighth of the price I was expecting to pay. An EIGHTH!! An added bonus is that I got to support a local, family-owned business run by really nice people. I adore this piece. The concept is so simple, but makes travel so much easier. If you travel even a few times a year, you need one of these. Quite possibly my best purchase of 2023.
